My Summary
About Me
Specialising in neurodivergent and vulnerable children, boosting academic results as well as instilling self-confidence, improving social skills and filling in gaps in curriculum knowledge.
I have tutored 11+, GCSE and NCFE to children of all ages and levels, specialising in maths and English.
I have a patient, caring and understanding nature, knowing the importance of making your child feel comfortable and happy. For younger children, I know how important it is to be fun loving and energetic whilst instilling important maths and reading skills!
I work with the child's individual skills and abilities.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all levels and abilities. I have managed tuition centres and have led courses for the maths and English curriculum, including 11+ and creative writing in KS1 and KS2. I am now working with vulnerable children and those struggling with the curriculum, filling knowledge gaps and allowing them to work at their own pace to boost self-esteem and confidence, particularly in the aftermath of COVID. I also work with children who are ahead in the curriculum to stretch and challenge their skills.
I have worked with children both in school and who are homeschooled.
My Qualifications
I have A* in maths and English GCSE and A levels.
I have a first class BA degree in languages from the University of Leeds.
I am working towards a masters in psychology to pursue a career in educational psychology, working with schools on their SEN offering.

Aiysha stepped in when the original children teacher was unable to come .
She tutored 2 children Y5 & Y6 . She was brilliant from the start was swift in her reply , new quickly how to make the teacher transition smooth and she was so good that she still comes at least once a week to help the children with school work.
