Hello parents!
I am an experienced Nanny and teaching assistant based in the NW8 area.
I am fun, easy going and an all-round great person to work with and care for your children, I have experience and have completed CPD training in Autism and ADHD, along with other SEN experience. I am also a non smoker.
I am passionate about nurturing creativity and independence while also being a steady adult in a child's life of whom they can rely on. While in my care I like to encourage children to think for themselves and be involved in decisions, this can include helping with dinner (where is age appropriate) allowing them to choose their outfit of the day, responsibility of keeping their room tidy (again depending on their age) all of which can be fun activities for the child but will also really help them in the future. I also have extensive knowledge in both mainstream and private curriculum, specifically 7+ so I am more than happy to help with any homework and/or tutoring work.
I like to create stimulating activities for both me and the children including arts and crafts, singing, dancing and other hobbies which we can bond over (I personally like to bake!). I have experience in both a home setting and a school setting so I understand the importance of keeping up with learning out of school and making it fun instead of a chore.
I am also happy to help out with light household chores where necessary, including laundry and ironing.
