My Summary

My Experience

I have a depth of experience working as a babysitter over the last ten years with different families. Most recently I have experience babysitting flexibly for two girls aged 7 and 10 years old and have done so for the past 2 years. I also have experience working as an outdoor play youth worker with children ages 2 to 18 years old supporting and encouraging through outdoor free play such as bushcraft, woodwork, cookery and arts and crafts. The work promote imagination, conflict resolution, messy and child led play. As an outdoor play and youth worker I have worked with children, teenagers and young adults with a variety of neurodivergence’s,additional support needs and disabilities. I also have experience working as a care worker supporting people with various additional support needs and disabilities to lead independently and fulfilling lives. I was a language assistant in primary schools and nursery and a Nanny for 6 months when living in Lyon, France in 2018 for a 5 year old and 11 year old.

I am intuitive and compassionate and believe in the importance of play and creativity in the learning and development of children and all humans no matter what age. I love working with children and young people and I’m looking to taking the steps to pursuing a career in play/art therapy in the future.

I’m a fun, kind, responsible, empathetic, reliable and creative person. I really enjoy being outdoors, making art, acting, singing, playing music and going on adventures.

I am a keen Scottish trad musician and play whistle and flute.

I am a visual artist and work in a variety of mediums and love to get crafty and creative with kids.

I love to cook and I’m really confident in a kitchen with all sorts of meal prep.

I am clean, tidy and organised.

I have experience teaching English to pre school/primary school children for 1 year when living in France.

I also have experience teaching children traditional whistle lessons and also would be over the moon to teach music with an additional charge.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.50 per hour
