About Me
Welcome to my profile. My name is Valentina Perera. I am a childminder as well as a tutor. Pretty Petals is my home nursery where I care for children. I love to teach and watch children develop to become independent and confident in themselves. Activities that I love to do with children are creative artworks, singing, outdoor play and story time. My motto is ' Let's Grow, Explore, Discover'. My aim is to help children to explore and make discoveries so they develop their knowledge and gain a better understanding of the world.
My Experience
The inspiration to become a childminder came from a nanny job where I worked with a baby for 3 years. It was amazing to see her take her first steps while holding my hands. I have full paediatric first aid training and I have studied the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework. I will be working and teaching children to meet the early learning goals successfully so they are well prepared to begin their reception year. I will be working with an assistant who has many years of childcare experience.
My Qualifications
I have a full paediatric first aid certificate completed. I have childcare certificates and a enhanced DBS certificate. Also outdoor training offered by little forest school folks.
I also offer private tuition on English, Maths or Science. For my GCSE I had A, A*, A*. I also gave a degree in Biomedical Sciences. I can help children prepare for SATs, 11+ exam and I offer GCSE tuition. Contact me if this is something you require.
My Availability
I am available 8.00am until 6.00pm.
Monday to Friday.
Saturday and Sunday for Tuition.
£10 per hour.

Valentina has been a nanny for me for 3 years now. She is very friendly, reliable and caring. My daughter absolutely loves her and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for childcare support. She is a great nanny.
