About Me
Hello! We live in a spacious, child friendly house which is very close to Jesse Gray and Willow pre-school. I have 2 children aged 18 and 16 who attend The West Bridgford School and my husband is a teacher in a local secondary school. We have a creative area in our playroom where children can help themselves to whatever they need to create a masterpiece! Everything is available for children to choose to play with at their fingertips, from dressing up, making little books, playing with a variety of small world toys or playing a game for example.
I provide home cooked meals. We will go out every day to one of the many activities here in West Bridgford to have fun, keep active and get some fresh air! I have recently qualified as a Forest Childcare Childminder which emphasises outdoor play in a forest or wooded setting. Much research shows that children learn so much, become even healthier physically and gain confidence physically and emotionally doing these activities. We also do daily mindfulness sessions. I have recently completed a Level 2 Makaton Course.
My Experience
I have 17 years as a primary school teacher and then chose to be a stay at home mum to our two children who are now aged 18 and 16.

I work and charge for school term times only. I work from Monday to Friday.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£5 per hour
£8 before school and £12.50 after school care (up to 5.30 pm) which includes a healthy snack and a home-cooked meal. If a later pick up is required there is an additional charge.
No retainer charges as term only.
