My Experience

As a childminder for children aged 0–3 years, I provide a warm, welcoming, and inspiring home-from-home environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to thrive. My approach is fun, imaginative, kind, and rooted in gentle, fair parenting, helping little ones build confidence, independence, and strong relationships.

Our days are filled with meaningful play and exploration, making use of natural and recyclable resources to spark creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning. We enjoy regular outings, making the most of our memberships and exploring local playgrounds, libraries, parks, and forests, giving children rich experiences both indoors and outdoors while supporting their development through play.

I work closely with a network of local childminders, giving children the opportunity to build positive relationships with trusted adults while forming meaningful friendships with children of both similar and mixed ages. These shared experiences help to develop confidence, social skills, and a strong sense of belonging in a wider community.


Here are some of the things we get up to to help cover the EYFS in a fun, natural way:

Communication and Language

* singing songs, nursery rhymes and action songs
* story time, puppets and sharing books together
* sharing, turn taking and group play with other children
* role play with dolls, kitchen sets, shops and small world toys

Physical Development

* messy play with paint, foam, sand, water and gloop
* outdoor play at parks, playgrounds, gardens and in the forest
* music and movement, dancing, instruments and rhythm games
* simple self-care routines like washing hands, dressing and tidying up
* cooking and baking simple recipes together

Personal, Social and Emotional Development

* role play with dolls, kitchen sets, shops and small world toys

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Childminding from £11.18 per hour

Daytime childcare £11.18

These fees are subject to unsociable premiums and late fees.
