Family of 4 looking for a Live Out Nanny (31 / hours week)
About Me
We're a friendly, professional and relaxed family of four based in Claygate, Surrey, looking for a warm and experienced nanny to join us from the start of September 2026.
Hannah (Mum) works from home for a US company, which means my day often extends a little into the evening — so we need someone who can take the lead on the after-school and bedtime routine. Rowan (dad) is in London 3–4 days a week.
Girl (4) is bright, curious and sporty, and will be starting Reception in September. Baby Boy (born October 2025) is a happy and easy-going who eats and sleeps well. We're looking for someone who will genuinely love spending time with them both and is excited about supporting our family life.

Tuesday 10:30am – 7:30pm
Wednesday 12:30pm – 7:30pm
Thursday 12:30pm – 7:30pm

THE ROLE
?????????????????????
This is a varied and rewarding role combining baby care, school-age childcare and activity planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
• School and nursery pick-ups
• Planning and leading engaging activities at home and out and about — park trips, soft play, music groups, baby classes and more
• Preparing nutritious, varied and age-appropriate meals for both children
• Bath time, bottle and bedtime routines
• Light household tasks related to the children — tidying the nursery, laundry etc (we also have a cleaner)
• Babysitting if mutually agreeable, though not essential

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who is:
• Experienced working with babies and pre-school/school-age children
• Positive mindset, nurturing, intuitive and warm
• Confident following baby cues while gently supporting him through a daily routine
• Creative and proactive, with ideas for activities and outings as the children grow
• Reliable and organised, with the ability to manage the day independently
Qualifications & requirements:
• Previous nanny or childcare experience with similar age groups
• Childcare, child development or nutrition qualifications are preferred
• Valid, enhanced DBS check
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Non-smoker
