Looking for someone to help me around the house and with my 2 children aged 8 months and 2 years.
My Requirements
We are a very easy-going, friendly family based in Quendon near Saffron Walden & looking for a kind, responsible, and engaging nanny to join our home and care for our two young children (ages 2 and 4).
We have a spacious, relaxed home environment and would love someone who enjoys being part of a warm family household.
About the Role
We are looking for a nanny who can create a happy, nurturing, and stimulating daily routine for our children. Flexibility is important, and we are open to adjusting hours for the right person.
Typical hours:
? Monday to Friday, around 8:00 to 3:00pm or 5:00pm – we can discuss what works best.
There will also be occasional opportunities for weekend or holiday work, should you be interested. My current nanny averages 40-55 hours a week with me to give an idea.
Could be flexible with less hours/days too. Days I would 100% like help is Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Responsibilities include:
Caring for our children and supporting their development through play and learning
Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks
Organising fun indoor and outdoor activities
Maintaining tidy and safe play spaces and children’s rooms
Supporting nap routines and general daily structure
Helping with children’s laundry and organisation
Occasionally driving to local activities (a driver preferred)
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced with babies and toddlers
Kind, calm, and proactive
Trustworthy and reliable
Energetic and enjoys being outdoors
Flexible with a positive, “can-do” attitude
DBS checked and with good references
Ideally a driver (a car can be provided for work use)
Details
Hours: Monday–Friday (approx. 35–40 hours/week, flexible)
Start: Ideally November / December 2025, flexible for the right person
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Extras: Additional work available during holidays or weekends if desired
