We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better childminder for our son. From the moment he started, shelly has gone above and beyond to make sure he was happy, cared for, and always learning and having fun.
Shelly has given him so many wonderful experiences and memories, from trips to LEGOLAND, Blackpool and the Sea Life Centre, to little outings for Costa Coffee and exploring all the beautiful National Trust parks. She has always made learning exciting and turned everyday adventures into opportunities for him to discover and learn something new.
We have seen such a huge difference in our son since being in her care. He has learnt so much, grown in confidence, become more independent, and developed so many new skills. Most importantly, he has been so happy and loved being there.
It was very emotional saying goodbye as he starts school, but we will always be so grateful for everything she has done for him and for all the amazing memories she has given him. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough to any parent looking for someone who genuinely cares about the children in her care.
Shelly will be missed by all of us she became part of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better childminder.

Three and a half years have come and gone,
And somehow our little Taylor has grown so strong.
From the very first day we left him in your care,
You gave him love, kindness, laughter and so much to share.

You’ve watched him grow through every stage,
From little adventures to turning the page.
And all the memories you’ve helped him create
Are memories we’ll treasure and never forget.

There were trips to LEGOLAND, adventures to SEA LIFE too,
And so many exciting things for Taylor to do.
Playgroup, fun, and days filled with smiles,
You’ve made his childhood special in so many little ways.

And of course, we can’t forget those special trips out,
That’s what it’s all about!
Costa or Starbucks, whichever was the day,
A little babychino always made him smile that way.

And then there’s i***** & H ***** too,
Two very special friends he made because of you.
The friendships and memories he’s made along the way
Will stay with him long after his last day.

Shelly, you became so much more than a childminder,
You became someone we trusted, loved and admired.
Knowing Taylor was happy, safe and cared for by you
Meant more to us than you could ever truly know.

Tomorrow is goodbye, and honestly, it’s hard,
Because leaving you feels like closing a very special part.
But when Taylor looks back on these years someday,
We hope he remembers all the fun along the way.

So thank you, Shelly, for everything you’ve done,
For every adventure, every cuddle and every bit of fun.
Thank you for helping our little boy grow,
And for giving him memories that will always glow.

Three and a half years of laughter, love and care,
So many precious memories for us to share.
Taylor may be moving on to something new,
But a little piece of our hearts will always belong to you.

Thank you for being such a special part of Taylor’s childhood.
We could never truly put into words how grateful we are.
