About Me
Hi, I’m Steph – a friendly, caring, and experienced childminder based in Rothwell, Northamptonshire. I provide a safe, nurturing, and fun home-from-home environment where children can learn, play, and grow at their own pace.
I live with my partner and our two wonderful girls – our daughter who is 2 years old, and my 7-year-old stepdaughter who stays with us at weekends. Our home is full of love, laughter, and play – and we also have two adorable bunnies, Phineas and Ferb, who the children love helping to care for!
My Experience
I have hands-on experience both as a parent and in professional childcare settings. Being a mum has given me a deep, personal understanding of how children grow, learn, and develop emotionally and socially. I have worked in a nursery setting where I supported children of various ages, followed the EYFS framework, and helped create a safe, engaging environment that encouraged development through play.
In recent years, I have worked in office-based roles to better accommodate the needs of my young family. While these roles helped support our household practically, my passion has always remained in childcare.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare (HBCA)
I’m fully Ofsted registered, DBS-checked, paediatric first-aid trained, and recently completed a safeguarding course.
I’m also committed to continuous learning to ensure I provide the best possible care, I currently have a membership with Pacey to help support this.

Available Monday to Friday 8:00am till 17:30pm
