I believe all children deserve the best start in their life, and can make progress if they are given the right support.but not many parents can afford as it cost for fortune. So, I want to offer care which is cheaper than local nurseries and affordable to everyone. I want to continue my child-care career with home-to-home approach.
I always offer new skills and watch them doing it by themselves with proud and twinkle in their eyes. I prompt to build up a good relationship with each child. sothat, they would feel secure and happy to join in with preferred activities of their choice. I make sure each child has no hesitant to open their feelings with me.
I know children learn better through play. I follow EYFS expectation at the same time being creative to use my own ideas in both indoors and outdoors depending on individual’s interest to offer various activities each day. The whole process of setting my house to a nursery is easy as I have two little ones on my own and all the toys are readily available.
I like the fact of being a child minder is rewarded as I can be with my little ones at the same time, I can care for other children and change their lives from my living room.. As you expect all the children will be looked after with same level of care and I will make them feel equal and valued within the setting. I am committed to provide quality care.
I am so ambitious and determined to grow my career in this way further. I am lucky to be supported by family members. I am sure that I can positively impact the families in my local community.
My Experience
I am a qualified nursery nurse with eight years of valuable experience at both Day-Nursery and Nursery School. I also worked as a teaching assistant for 3 years. I looked after children with SEN at both nursery as well as at school.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce(QCF)
CACHE Level 2 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
Safeguarding Children Training.
Fire Awareness training.
First Aid
GCSE Maths
Functional Skill Level 2 in English
My Availability
The whole year around with 5 weeks unpaid holidays .Usually 7.30 till 4.30 .If you need extra hours then speak to me.

I’m very happy with the care my baby son receives from this childminder. She is kind, patient, loving and always makes him feel safe and happy. Her home is clean, calm and welcoming, and she treats every child like her own.

Our experience with Thushia has been wonderful. She is warm, patient, and very accommodating and she keeps us consistently updated which we really appreciate.Being first time parents we were so anxious to send our son to daycare but our son has settled in so well and genuinely enjoys his time with her.She literally puts so much effort to feed him and nappy changes which I appreciate alot .Knowing he is happy and well cared for gives us complete peace of mind. Highly recommended.

Thushi is an incredible childminder who has been really caring and helpful with my two girls. She goes above and beyond to keep the girls busy and happy, which is not easy to do! I'll never stop thanking God for putting this woman in our life. For a very long time, I was on a search trying desperately to find someone I could trust and feel at peace knowing my son it's well looked after, and his needs are met. I have meet childminders throughout our research but unfortunately no one made me feel safe enough. I came across auntie Thushi (which we love to call her so) and I just knew, INSTANTLY, that this is the one! The house, the standards, the warmth, the KINDESS, the empathy, gentile most loving woman we meet was here, we could finally stop the search. THANK YOU!
For us mom's it is so important we feel at peace these kids are the most precious gift we have and to know they are well looked after when we cannot be there it's VITAL- and you made this so, so easy!

Thushi is an amazing childminder, I don't even know where to begin!
Her home is a lovely setting, with an abundance of toys and space, indoors and outdoors. Her home feels like a home to home. Cleanliness and hygiene is very high; her place is amazingly spotless with all the little people around. My child has settled in so quickly and so much quicker than I expected and I believe it is down to Thushi and her patience, her warmth, her attentiveness and her calming home. My child loves hanging out Thushi and has bonded with her so amazingly well. He loves hanging out with his new gang and having lovely home-cooked meals and snacks in a friendly, nurturing and caring environment.
Thushi is an absolute gem and I am so lucky to have found her. I can't recommend her enough. She has been so great to work with: I love the consistent updates throughout the day, I love how she is so easy-going, I love that she is completely trustworthy and I love how she just gets what my child needs. She is super accommodating in every way.
