About Me

My name is Marta, I'm a 26 years old primary school teacher. Dedicating my life to helping others has been something I have aspired to do from an early age. I moved to London in 2019 after finishing my bachelor's in Primary Education. I got my qualified teaching status (QTS) later that year. I started working as a TA and soon moved into a Class Teacher role. I am currently the Modern Foreign Language department leader at the school where I work.

I speak 3 languages, Catalan, Spanish and English.

My Experience

During my bachelor's I was an English teacher in different schools and a private tutor. When I moved to London and got my QTS, I started working as a TA in Reception. When covid hit, I started a new position as a supply teacher, allowing me to teach in different year groups from Nursery to Year 6! I am currently a Year 1 class teacher in the Lewisham borough.

My Qualifications

I have a university degree from the University of Barcelona in Primary Education, minor in modern foreign languages.
