Hello!
My name is Issy and my partners name is Aaron. We live in a bungalow in Southend on Sea.
My son is currently 8 months old and we are discussing my return to work in August / September. I am a mental health social worker and my partner is a painter / decorator.
At the time of returning to work, my son would be approx 10 / 11months. Birthday - September.

I would like to start the process early of meeting a nanny and for you to build up a relationship with my son prior to nannying all day. So, I am hoping the right nanny would be able to do several short visits to meet him with us, building up to a few (paid) hours here and there to care for him. Aiming to make the transition smoother for us all!

My Requirements
1 day a week.
I am atm very flexible regarding what day of the week that I have a nanny as I am still in discussions with work regarding what days I return to work. My Mum is going to have my son on two days of the week and she is flexible as well.
Regarding the timings, I can also be somewhat flexible on the start and end time. As long as the bulk of 9-5 is catered for by a nanny.
Sometimes I would be working from home and other times I would be in the office. My partner would always be working out of the house.
I would be looking for a nanny to come to my house and be gentle, nurturing and loving towards my little boy and understand that it is a big transition going from being with your Mum 24/7 to spending 3 days without her! I would like it if you utilised the children’s centre that is near my house and took him to the play groups that he has been going to with me for routine.
Whilst my son has his long nap of the day, I would expect the nanny to complete jobs round the house that mainly relate to our son, eg washing his clothes. Yet with some flexibility, eg. Mopping the floors!
My son has a cows milk, soya, egg, wheat and tomato allergy - all non IGE, so a knowledge of this / willingness to learn would be vital.
