My Experience

I have more than 29 years of childcare experience. I am NNEB-trained. Working with children ranging from newborns to teens.
I have previously worked as an Ofsted-registered childminder in my own home; private nurseries; and private homes, as well as in a primary school's preschool/reception/years 1 & 2 classrooms and babysitting. My diverse background has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of children's developmental needs and the ability to create engaging, safe, and nurturing environments. I am passionate about fostering each child's growth and learning through tailored activities and attentive care. I continuously seek to enhance my skills and knowledge in early childhood education, staying updated with the latest best practices. This commitment enables me to provide the highest standard of care and support, ensuring that every child thrives in their formative years.

I have attended many training courses over the years. Many regarding speech and language, basic sign language, observational skills, and supporting children with additional needs using holistic, creative, fine and gross motor skills.

My Availability

Having 2 children still at school and I currently work in a local Pre-School. I’m Ideally looking for a nanny position during the week that would be happy for me to occasionally bring my 8 year old daughter during school holidays.
I’d happily consider a term-time only/ part-time or full-time position.
