About Me
I am a first second student at the University of Edinburgh, currently studying Politics and Social Anthropology. I am from London but living in Edinburgh in Marchmont during term time. I have a younger sister who I frequently looked after growing up, which helped me to develop skills such as cooking and become both more organised and responsible. As well as this, I have experience in childcare and worked at a live-in summer camp for a month in July, which I really enjoyed. I love cooking and baking, as well as spending time outdoors and reading as well. I am looking for a job as a babysitter as I find spending time around children to be refreshing and rewarding due to their curiosity and enthusiasm! I would also be happy to help out with chores around the house and homework if needed.
My Experience
I tutored my neighbour’s 7 year old daughter for around 6 months, as well as occasionally babysitting her and her siblings when needed. I have also looked after twin 3 year old boys, as well as their 5 and 7 year old sisters for around 6 months. Looking after the twins would involve reading to them and making sure they didn’t get up to mischief! I have also had various other nannying jobs in Edinburgh for kids between the ages of 3 and 8. This summer I worked on a live-in summer camp (Our World English Schools) for 4 weeks, taking care of kids from the ages of 12-17, which helped me develop my skills in thinking on my feet.
My Qualifications
I am proficient in English and am learning Spanish. I also have passed an advanced DBS check in order to work on the camp.
My Availability
I have a fair amount of availability during the days on weekdays, with Wednesday and Friday being my most available days. I may be free some weekends but this depends on timings and prior commitments.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My base rate is £13 per hour, but if the job would including tutoring, this would be raised to £20 per hour. I may also require transport costs to be paid depending on the location.

Alissa was caring, responsible, and fun. She had great ideas for outings with our two boys, ages 8 and 10. She was always engaged, either taking them places or playing with them. Great communication with parents; very reliable.
