Full Time Nanny Job in Glasgow
About Me
We are looking for a warm, trustworthy and caring nanny to help look after our 1-year-old son in Bearsden, Glasgow.
The role would be Monday to Thursday, approximately 10am–5pm (around 28 hours per week), starting from 1st June.
We are looking for someone who is kind, patient and genuinely enjoys spending time with young children, and who can create a calm, nurturing and engaging environment for our son.
We would also like someone reasonably active and happy to take him out to age-appropriate activities such as Bookbug, animal farms, soft play and similar outings.
Previous childcare / nanny experience is preferred, and a driving licence is required.
The role would ideally run through to spring 2027.

Dylan was an absolutely fantastic nanny for our son, caring for him from 16 months until he turned 3 and started nursery. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found her.
From the start, Dylan's caring and flexible nature was evident, making our son's transition to a full-time schedule (30 hours/week) seamless. She possesses a remarkable ability to acknowledge, calm, and redirect his feelings with patience and warmth. Her approach is consistently patient, caring, fun, and engaging.
Beyond providing exceptional care, Dylan actively focused on his development and experience. She ensured he had daily outdoor play and trips to places like museums and art galleries, soft play and Bookbug sessions. She also consistently encouraged him to step outside his comfort zone (e.g., dressing himself, interacting with other kids) with positive reinforcement and gentle reassurance.
Dylan also went above and beyond with light household tasks related to our son, including preparing his breakfast, doing his laundry, and cleaning up his toys.
We wholeheartedly recommend Dylan. Any family would be lucky to have her.
