Hi i'm Annie.
I'm a registered childminder offering childcare in a loving and caring environment from my house in Queens park.
I've worked with all ages of children as a childminder, nanny,and in a nursery setting.
I'm energetic and enthusiastic attending playgroups, singing groups, all the local parks as well as Hampstead Heath and London zoo ( I have a yearly membership)
In my setting i use my living room,kitchen and garden, i have a variety of indoor and outdoor toys, plus art and craft resources.
I attend to safety measures, prepare childrens meals and provide healthy snacks.
I encourage appropriate rest/sleep during the day,and comfort children in times of stress or upset.
I plan and set out activities and make sure there's appropriate play space for free play.
I'm actively involved in play,reading books,singing nursery rhymes,role play,helping with art work,and encouraging running around parks, and helping children on climbing equipment.
My Experience
I’ve been working as a childminder since 2004.
I’ve previously worked as a nanny, in nurseries and a class room assistant in a reception class.
My Qualifications
Ofsted inspected November 2019 - The overall effectiveness of my practise is good.
CRB checked.
NSPCC Safeguarding.
First Aid.
Makaton.
Level 2 in safety in catering.
Every Child a Talker Programme. A two year course developing children's language and communication skills. Training in letters and sounds,using resources to support language,songs and storytelling.

My daughter started with Annie when she was 5 months old and was with her until she was nearly 2 years old. Annie was amazing from the very start, and I cannot recommend her enough. I trusted her completely and she was a all along a great influence for my daughter in her first years.
Annie’s house was clean and very nicely set up with activities for babies of all ages. Annie also does a lot of outdoors activities which for me was very important and takes the children she looks after to various singing, or activity groups.
My daughter always came home very happy and sleepy, which showed me she had had fun and had been very stimulated both intellectually and physically.
Annie is amazing, and she still holds a very special place in my daughter’s and our hearts. If you are looking for someone reliable, who cares and who will do everything to make your child have the best days, then look no further!

Annie has cared for our son (now 16 months) since he was 10 months old. He settled in with the other children really quickly and loves being dropped off each morning. Annie takes wonderful care of the children and organises lots of activities for them each day, including trips to the park, local play groups, the zoo, craft activities, singing, reading, and playing in her backyard. She also provides a detailed update each day when we pick him up. It is a very loving and happy environment, and we highly recommend Annie.

Cannot recommend Annie enough; her kind, caring, and friendly nature made the really daunting and difficult task of returning to work a whole lot easier. My daughter has developed so much since being with Annie and has grown so much in confidence and skills!
