About Us

The Old Station Nursery Stratford-upon-Avon Pre-School is set within the grounds of Holy Trinity C of E Primary school. Our proximity to the school gives children the opportunity to familiarise themselves with their surroundings, making the transition to school seamless.

Inside the Pre-School, there are three large rooms, each focusing on different areas of learning. The children are given the opportunity to move between the rooms throughout the day and to engage in a variety of activities.

All the children have access to a variety of resources appropriate to their age, with the small world area and our natural resources being popular with all the children. We focus on encouraging independence skills and have a holistic approach to learning. To support language development, we have an enticing construction space and music station; as well as areas for being creative, with arts and crafts and a home corner and a relaxing book corner.

The light and spacious rooms have direct access to an outdoor area, enabling free-flow play opportunities all day. The outdoor space is partly covered so that children can use the space all year round. Outside, there is also a planting section, digging pits and a mud kitchen as well as easy access to the larger school playground, where the children enjoy bikes and scooters.
