About Me

Hi my name is Victoria (or Vicki)
I have over 8 years experience working with children, I have a passion for working with children and really look forward to inviting the children into my home/cabin, I live with my husband Nick and 3 children, Heidi, Harper and Henri, we also have our lovely dog Pixie. All 3 of my girls absolutely love making friends and are very caring and compassionate towards others.

I offer a home-based childcare in the heart of Sale. I am a very kind, friendly and caring person with a warm fun environment providing a stimulating setting for your children to learn and develop through a wide range of activities. My setting is secure and spacious, featuring a purpose-built log cabin and a large garden. Children will have free access to a safe and secure outdoor area where there will be plenty more opportunities for the children to enjoy their time. Children learn, develop and thrive here- using the Early Years Framework, your children will hit milestones whilst having fun, which I believe is so, so important.

I will provide activities for all ages for example, mark making. Messy play, sensory, role play, reading, maths, music and movement, baking and I will give the children plenty of opportunities to commivate and socialise with their peers and myself.

I have excellent knowledge of the Early Years foundation stage, this will support me when I assess, observe and plan for each child, taking into consideration their interests and need to help them to progress and become school ready.

Healthy homemade nutritious food will be provided for breakfast, lunch and snacks. And drinks will be provided throughout the day.

I believe children learn best when they interact with others and so I attend various social groups in the morning, such as play groups, soft play centres, libraries, singing classes, local parks, museums and farms and then return home to a quieter, calmer environment.

A typical week at VCM Childminding:

Monday - Music & Singing class
Tuesday - Park or A Playgroup
Wednesday - Humphries Park Playgroup
Thursday - Play group / Soft Play
Friday - Park or Library

My working days are:

Monday - Thursday
07:30 - 17:00

I offer drop off and pick ups from St Joseph’s Catholic School (Sale).
