Working with children is a very strong passion of mine and I see myself as a bubbly, loving, confident and calm person that is a natural when it comes to children.
I pride myself when it comes to confidentiality knowing how important it is in a childcare setting.
I really enjoy planning different activities for children such as, play dates, trips to the zoo, water play, messy play, picnics, feeding the ducks and playing at the park.
I am a confident cook and can prepare nutritious and healthy meals for the children following their dietary requirements. I have lots of experience with fussy eaters so can sympathise with them and have lots of patience for them.
My Experience
I have worked in the childcare industry for over 7 years. I started by working in a nursery when I was 16 and completed my level 2 NVQ. I then went on to do my level 3 NVQ. While working in the nursery I looked after children aged 6 months-4 years old. I worked in the nursery industry for 5 years and gained lots of knowledge and undertook different courses while I was there. While working in the nursery I looked after a wide range of children including SEN children. I am now a live in nanny looking after G3 and B5.

Jess took excellent babysitting care of my two young children. They were very excited from the moment they met her, because Jess brings a tonne of friendly fun energy with just the right sprinkling of authority. She did both their bedtimes and respected their preferences.

Jess looked after our 9 month old daughter and was fantastic. Our baby warmed to her very quickly, and Jess managed to easily settle her when she was having a difficult time falling asleep. She was professional and friendly. We’d definitely recommend her!

Jess looked after our 3 children on our Frome holiday (3, 6, and 9 years old). She was warm, reliable , and extremely professional. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
