Hi, I’m Jess.
Working with children has always been a true passion of mine. I am a bubbly, caring, confident, and calm person, and I love supporting children as they learn, grow, and develop. I pride myself on creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
I understand the importance of professionalism and confidentiality within a family home and always strive to build trusting relationships with both parents and children.
I enjoy planning fun, engaging, and age appropriate activities that support children’s development and interests. Whether it’s organising playdates, trips to the zoo, visits to local attractions, water and messy play, picnics, feeding the ducks, baking, arts and crafts, or adventures at the park, I love creating enjoyable experiences that encourage learning through play.
I am also a confident cook and enjoy preparing nutritious, balanced meals for children while accommodating any dietary requirements. Having worked with many fussy eaters throughout my childcare career, I understand the patience and creativity often needed to encourage positive eating habits and make mealtimes a happy experience.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 10 years. I began my career in a nursery at the age of 16, where I completed my Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ qualifications. During my 5 years in a nursery setting, I cared for children aged 6 months to 4 years, gaining valuable experience and undertaking a variety of childcare training courses.
Throughout my career, I have worked with children of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.
For the past 4 years, I have worked as a live in nanny, caring for children aged 6 months and above in a home environment. I am currently responsible for the care of a 5 year old girl and a 7 year old boy, supporting their daily routines, educational development, social growth, and overall wellbeing. I pride myself on building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents and adapting my approach to meet each child’s individual needs.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (net)
Babysitting fees are from 7pm and after.

Jess took excellent babysitting care of my two young children. They were very excited from the moment they met her, because Jess brings a tonne of friendly fun energy with just the right sprinkling of authority. She did both their bedtimes and respected their preferences.

Jess looked after our 9 month old daughter and was fantastic. Our baby warmed to her very quickly, and Jess managed to easily settle her when she was having a difficult time falling asleep. She was professional and friendly. We’d definitely recommend her!

Jess looked after our 3 children on our Frome holiday (3, 6, and 9 years old). She was warm, reliable , and extremely professional. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
