About Us

Wylde Green Day Nursery, located in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, prides itself on radiating a ‘community feel’ across the setting, with a focus on teaching children valuable lessons about themselves and the world around them, adopting a ‘Reggio Emilia’ learning approach. The nursery provides full time and part time care for children aged 1-5 years.

The nursery has been carefully designed, with an open plan setting that allows for an abundance of light, and a spacious area that provides opportunities for children to free play and decide how they want to spend their day through child-led activities. Throughout each room, our qualified and passionate nursery team support children to build a solid foundation for life, through developing confidence, independence, and a lifelong love for learning.

The nursery has a beautiful outdoor area, enriched with a selection of activities to strengthen children’s physical health, motor skills and emotional wellbeing. All outdoor materials are easily accessible and encourages children to explore nature in a safe and secure environment. The setting encompasses an inspirational feeling to each room, especially within the atelier and science area, where children can explore in-depth about the importance of expressing themselves visually as well as verbally.

We are open from 7:30am - 6pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year (we are closed at Christmas and on bank holidays).
