About Me

Hi, I’m Holly, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. I love encouraging curiosity, confidence, and creativity through play-based learning. Outside of work, I enjoy paddleboarding, kayaking, and music, which I often incorporate into activities with children. I also enjoy caring for animals and regularly walk the family’s Golden Retriever in my current role.

My Experience

I’ve been working in childcare for over five years, caring for children from 4 months to 11 years old. I started with work experience at West Wight Nursery at 16, earning my Level 2 qualification in 2020 and completing Level 3 in 2024. For 6 months from November 2024, I was a nanny/au pair for a family with four children (ages 11, 10, 5, and 2), providing full-time care. I also have experience babysitting, volunteering with Girl Guiding, and supporting forest school activities. Additionally, I hold first aid and safeguarding certificates.
