My Summary

My Experience

I have worked alongside my mum in a childminder setting. Due to my love in childcare, I have then voluntarily did a 2 week placement at my villages local preschool.

When I went to college to develop my career further, I carried out a 2 week placement a chain day nursery. I ended up enjoying the nursery so much, I was asked if I wanted to do a Level 3 Early Years apprenticeship. I accepted. During my apprenticeship, I worked 40 hours a week, with overtime.

I have just completed my three year degree on Early Childhood Studies. During my time at University, I spent 2-4 days a week as an early years practitioner in a local nursery. I worked in each room, depending on where I was needed. They had three rooms, under 2s, toddlers and a preschool. I worked closer with the settings SENCO, to increase my knowledge and understanding of our SEN and behavioural children.

I have spent the last three summers working at a summer camp in America. During my time there, I nannied for some of the staff members children where we got to do a variety of activities each day.

My Qualifications

My main qualifications are:
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner
- Level 3 Early Years Educator
- Level 3 Safeguarding Children and Young People
- Paediatric First Aid

I can also provide courses and other qualifications that I have gained throughout the years. This has been due to CPD. Let me know if you would like a list of all these.

I have just finish my Early Childhood Studies degree which is a Level 6. I specialise in children aged from birth until 8 years old. However, I have looked after children older than 8.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour

My fees will depend on where I am travelling to and how many children at once I will be looking after. This will decided with each family.
