Part time Mothers Helper/Family Support/Nanny
About Me
Part-Time Mother's Helper / Family Assistant Wanted
We're looking for a kind, reliable and proactive mother's helper/family assistant to join our family and provide an extra pair of hands during the week.
We're a busy household with three young children (and baby number four on the way!), and with my husband working away, I'm looking for someone who can help make our mornings run a little more smoothly.
Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 11:00 am
- Friday: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
A total of 14 hours per week.
There may be the opportunity for additional hours in the future if they suit both you and our family, but initially we're looking for morning support only.
The role
This isn't a traditional nanny position with a fixed list of household chores. I'm really looking for someone who is happy to be an extra pair of hands and muck in wherever needed.
Typical duties will include:
- Driving my little boy to school (Monday to Thursday).
- Returning home to help with the morning routine.
- Helping make beds if needed.
- Putting on or hanging out washing.
- Tidying up and helping keep on top of the house.
- Helping with the younger children while I get things done.
- Generally assisting with whatever needs doing that day to help our mornings run smoothly.
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
- Warm, caring and trustworthy.
- Proactive and happy to use their initiative.
- Organised and practical.
- Comfortable working in a busy family home.
- A confident driver with a full, clean driving licence, as driving to and from school is an essential part of the role.
- Happy to adapt from day to day depending on what the family needs.
If you're looking for a varied and rewarding role supporting a busy family, we'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch with a little information about yourself, your experience, your availability and your hourly rate.
My Requirements
Some experience with SEN/Autism would be great.Driving licence would be optimal also.
