About Me

About the child: Twelve-year-old D is full of joy—he loves laughter and is tickled pink by cartoons and bouncing on trampolines. He is fascinated by music, textures, buses, trains, and exploring the world around him. He's highly cooperative, autistic and enjoys routine. He has a severe learning disability and attends a specialist school. He is non-speaking and expresses himself with the Clicker Communicator AAC iPad app. With prompting, he gets dressed, washes his hands, and uses the toilet. He has a restrictive diet, so all his meals are prepared at home.

Family Pet: Golden Retriever (dog)
