My Requirements

I am looking for a kind, patient, playful and reliable nanny/babysitter to provide support in my home on some weekends and evenings.

I have three children aged 18, 8 and 5. My two younger children have additional needs (ASD). My 5-year-old is non-verbal, has some understanding, and enjoys being independent where possible. He would pull or push you to what he wants. He is very active and would need close supervision at all times, as he can be a flight risk.

He loves outdoor play, the garden, water activities and painting.

I am looking for someone who can provide caring support and occasional respite, allowing me to spend quality time with my other children, especially taking my 8-year-old out. I would also love someone who could occasionally join us on family outings such as bowling, family functions or meals out to offer extra support.

It would be ideal to find someone with experience of autism/additional needs who could also help me and my older daughter to encourage communication skills, learning and positive routines, while helping me continue to build my own understanding of my children’s needs.

What I’m looking for:

- Kind, trustworthy and dependable person
- Experience with children, ideally ASD/additional needs
- Calm, patient and confident nature
- Able to supervise an active child closely
- Available some evenings and weekends, family functions
- Happy to support at home and occasionally on outings as part of the family.
