About Me

My name is Kirsty Jones, and I offer a warm, nurturing home-from-home childcare setting where children are encouraged to grow, develop and become the very best versions of themselves.

I pride myself on providing high-quality, flexible childcare tailored to meet the needs of each child and family. I offer flexible childcare hours, including preschool drop-offs at Little Chums on Beehive Lane, as well as school wraparound care for Beehive Lane Primary School.

With a background in psychology, I have a strong understanding of children’s development, behaviour and emotional needs. I believe children learn best when they are happy, secure and engaged, which is why learning through play is at the heart of my setting. I provide rich and varied experiences that encourage children to explore, develop their independence, build confidence and learn at their own pace.

I enjoy providing children with a wide range of experiences both within the setting and out in the local community. We regularly attend toddler groups, libraries and soft-play centres, as well as enjoying plenty of time outdoors in parks and green spaces. I also have annual passes to local farm and zoos, giving the children opportunities to explore, discover and learn about the world around them.

I also attend a weekly phonics class, which I feel is a fantastic way to support children’s early literacy skills and help prepare them for their transition into school.

I am extremely proud that my most recent Ofsted inspection in July 2026 was strong in all areas, reflecting my commitment to providing a safe, nurturing and high-quality environment where children can thrive.

My aim is to create a setting where every child feels happy, valued, confident and supported, while giving them the opportunities and experiences they need to flourish.
