About Me
I am an Ofsted rated good Registered Childminder and Early Years Practitioner providing childcare in Great Houghton in Barnsley.
I am able to provide funded Nursery Education for 3 and 4 years old's up to 30 hours per week, and also funded 15 hours for eligible 2 year old's and 9 to 23 month's old for working families.
I provide professional care for children birth to 12 years of age, in a nurturing, stimulating environment which is safe and secure. I offer childcare before and after school care to older children. Both term time and school holiday care available.
In this supportive environment your child will be able to learn through play and follow the EYFS curriculum that will help them progress, learn and achieve.
I do pick ups and drop offs from Sandhill Primary School in Great Houghton.
My Experience
I am a parent to a 9 year old. I have experience of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, PDA and Sensory needs.
I have been working for the last 2 years as a Childminding Assistant in a very busy setting. I am also a parent to a 9 year old little girl.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.
Level 3 Early Years
Enhanced DBS.
Level 2 Food Hygiene.
Fire and Safety Training.
Early Years Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Basic Makaton.
Understanding Autism, Asperger's and ADHD.
Cygnet course, Understanding Behaviour, Managing Behaviour, Communication and Sensory needs.
Experience in SEND.

My Availability
My opening hours are:
Monday 7am - 5:30pm
Tuesday 7am - 5:30pm
Wednesday 7am - 5:30pm
Thursday 7am - 5:30pm
Friday 7am - 5:30pm
I currently have vacancies for before and after school and I will have vacancies from Septemeber 2025 for Early Year's Children.
I offer:
Funded Nursery Education for 3 and 4 year old's and extended hours.

- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My fees are £5.00 an hour which includes breakfast, and snacks and unlimited drinks of milk or water. Pack lunches are required
