About Me
Hi, I’m Jess! Mum of 3 gorgeous boys: Bay, Bodhi and Harbour. Wife of my incredibly supportive (music teacher) husband Dan and newly qualified childminder. I live in the Berry Hill/ High Oakham area of Mansfield.
The ethos of our setting is a home from home environment. We spend lots of time outdoors, creating, building, making and doing! All learning and play is child led and I also plan fun and engaging activities based on your child’s interests and passions, whilst introducing them to new and exciting topics.
My main aim is that all children are happy and thriving!
We have a completely secure garden with swings, slide, climbing frame, outdoor bikes, trikes and cars as well as a sand pit, water table, play house, mud kitchen, growing station and much more! Inside we are lucky enough to have a dedicated play room, large living room and conservatory – all available for play throughout the day. This includes spaces to enjoy messy and creative play, malleable, role play, reading and quite time, as well as themed activities, number and phonics stations.
All play is child led and is supported by themed activities that children can access if they choose to. We also visit local play groups, parks, museums, country parks etc. on a weekly basis.

- Hold the relevant pre-registration early years qualifications
- Pediatric first aid trained

- Food standards and hygiene certified

I keep up to date with CPD and attend monthly training sessions to continue my own development in the sector.

My working hours are 8-5.30

- Childminding from £5.50 per hour

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at High Oakham Primary School
