Mother’s help for my 3year old boy!
About Me
We are a positive, outdoorsy and welcoming family living on a small farm with horses, dogs and chickens. We’re looking for a trustworthy, caring and fun Mother’s Help to become part of our family from September.
Both parents are freelancers, so our work schedules can vary from week to week depending on client commitments. Some weeks are busy, others much quieter, but our biggest priority is ensuring our 3-year-old son has consistency, routine and a calm, happy environment.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, reliable and happy to muck in wherever needed to help our lively household run smoothly. You must be comfortable around animals, enjoy being outdoors and have your own car due to our rural location.
My Requirements
We have a wonderfully happy, energetic and adventurous 3-year-old boy who loves exploring, being outside and learning through play. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers, chatting with them and creating engaging activities that support their development. We love a Montessori-inspired approach that encourages independence, curiosity and creativity.
The role includes:
• Providing warm, engaging care for our son.
• Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and outdoor adventures.
• Preparing fresh, nutritious meals (excellent snack negotiation skills are definitely a bonus!).
• Keeping his bedroom, clothes and toys clean, tidy and organised.
• One -2 nursery pick-up each week from September.
• Light household duties, including unloading the dishwasher, keeping shared living areas tidy, occasional hoovering and helping with food shopping or errands when needed.
Working days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from September (these days are non-negotiable), with the opportunity for additional hours for the right person.
