About Us
Young Leaders Montessori Casa has a preschool program for children aged 2-5 in the heart of the magnificent Surrey Hills. We run our preschool in Abinger Hammer, a breathtaking location in the heart of the woodlands and just next to the Tillingbourne stream. We blend the Montessori Ethos inside with a forest school component outside in our beautiful setting. Furthermore, we run forest school sessions with a specalist forest school leader on Thursdays, as well as our tennis program on Tuesdays and Yoga on Wednesdays, both are run with experienced and skilled experts brought in specifically for these classes.
Our location in Abinger Hammer, just off the A25, is a convenient location to residents of Dorking and Guildford, and a short driving distance to many of the surrounding villages including Wescott, Gomshall, Abinger Common, Peaslake, Ewhurst, Chilworth, Shalford, Bookham, Leatherhead and the beautiful village of Shere. Our sister Montessori preschool has been running in Toronto Canada successfully since 2005, for 19 years, it has helped hundreds of children reach their full potential. We're excited to bring this international program to the Surrey Hills offering a unique program in the area.
We are a term time preschool for 2 - 5 year old children, with a morning session (8.45am-12 noon), afternoon session (12-3.15pm). We cover numeracy, literacy (phonics, reading and writing). We recommend a minimum of 3 sessions a week and funded places are available. Extracurricular activities are charged depending on attendance and whether it falls in selected sessions.
Our education program unleashes your child's potential by spurring their interest and natural curiosity to explore a wide range of Montessori materials indoors and also embrace time outdoors.

- Childcare from £19.50 per morning
- Childcare from £19.50 per afternoon
- Childcare from £39.00 per day
There are two session a day, the morning session (8.45am-12 noon) and afternoon session (12-3.15pm). Funded Early Education places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds are accepted and unfunded places are £6.50 an hour. The cost of extracurriculars is between £10- £25 per week depending on sessions.
