My Requirements

We have a small team of fantastic helpers who help support our son and help him and his sister have an active life. We are currently looking to increase our team and have the following regular shifts available: Mondays afternoons (2pm to 8pm), Saturdays (10am to 8pm), Sundays (10am to 8pm). We will also have extra shifts available in the summer holidays (weekday mornings 9am to 2pm) for bank work or temporary summer work. We live in a fully adapted home and our son has his own large bedroom/bathroom and playroom. He needs help with personal care and all activities due to the nature of his physical disability but he communicates verbally and enjoys games and activities with his support team. No sole charge is required as you would either be working 2:1 with another of his team or one parent would be at home to assist. Some experience of or interest in disability or other additional needs would be valuable but is not essential as full training would be provided. Our current team have all been working with our son for between 1 and 6 years each. If you are looking for a varied and rewarding role please get in touch and we'd be happy to give more information.
