About Me
I am a more mature lady who loves children and dogs. I enjoy reading, writing, walking and cycling. I am very sociable and love to spend time around people. I have my own home close to Ripon city centre. I value my family and spend as much time as I can with my two grown up sons. I am currently retraining to be a part time counsellor and am looking for a new professional challenge which will work alongside that and take account of all my teaching experience, working with young children.
My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher for many years, including teaching in several schools in the Ripon area. I have specialised in Early Years so have a lot of experience in child development. I am organised at home and am an experienced cook. I have undertaken paediatric first aid training in school, although I do not have a current qualification. I am also a qualified swimming teacher and have previous experience as a lifeguard.
