About Me

Dear Parents,

I am Tham, currently I am student. I have been working with kids since 2015 as a 1:1 private tutor to support kids (6-12 years old) with academic difficulties in Vietnam. After that, from 2019-2021, I was teaching nearly 100 kids and teenagers ages from 5-18 in an English center. My students said that I am a very friendly, approachable and supportive teacher. I was chosen to be the "Special teacher" in the occasion of Vietnamese teacher day in 2020. Throughout my teaching experience, I believe that I am suitable for the position that desire patience, support and interpersonal skills. I am able to create fun and creative environment for kids. These are three things I see myself for for the role as your nanny:
1)Calm and loving: I strongly believe this is very important to work with young learner. Patientice is needed to handle situation involved kid since they are still learning and developing their emotions at the same time. I have read a book they said kid's emotion are changing quickly is because they are learning how to express their feelings and sometimes don't quite understand their emotions. Therefore, understanding their feelings and create a positive environment is needed for kid to fully develop their emotional expression.
2)Imagination: Numerologically, I have two number six lies on my birth chart, it means I am very creative. I have created various of activities for my students along side with my classes in the past. Kids enjoyed it and it helps me to deliver my lesson better
3)Multicultural: I am from a very different country. Therefore it could be am advantage for kid to learn more new thing from another culture. It's freshen up their understanding about people from other nations.
I have been working with kids for almost 8 years.
What I learn from kids is always new every day. Different kids have different characters, that is exciting for me to learn about them and have a 'little friend' around. I have done few characters assessment and they suggested that I am suitable for working with people, in a caring environment. From time to time I think it's true for me. I value family and the relationship with my family members. Working with any kids before is always a pleasure for me to meet to know and to love them. Most of my old learners still contact me once in a while. That means a lot to me and strengthen my belief that I am fitted for the role of working with kids.
