About Me
I am a mother and experienced childcare provider based in Peckham, just 5 minutes from Rye Lane Station and 3 minutes from Morrisons. With over a decade in education across nursery, primary, and secondary levels, I love supporting children as they explore, learn, and reach their milestones. Having used a childminder myself, I understand how difficult it can be to entrust your child to someone else, so I focus on providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children feel valued and supported. My goal is to give parents peace of mind, so they can focus on work, study, or other commitments, knowing their child is thriving.

My Experience
My Experience working with children varies extensively, I am a qualified Teaching Assistant, with experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children. I have worked in the capacity of a Deputy nursery manager having responsibility for children aged 3 months - 4 years old. I am also able to help children with primary level Mathematics and Literacy. I now own and manage my own business Chosen Tot's Childminding Services.
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts Business Management and Entrepreneurship
CACHE Level 2 Certification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Level 3 EYFS Pre-Registration Childminding Course.

Appointing Sofan as my childminder was the best decision I made for my daughter. She is such an affectionate and nurturing individual. My daughter was always excited when it’s time to go as she knew she had a fun-filled day to look forward towards. I felt that Sofan went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter’s needs were being met by providing a wide variety of activities from library visits, outdoor activities to fun arts and crafts. In a short period of time my daughter developed amazing communication and social skills. The flexibility offered and the cultivating family atmosphere made such a massive impact on my work life. Therefore, I would highly recommend Sofan for her impactful childminding skills.

Used Sofan's childcare service and I'll recommend it to anyone, the setting is child friendly, educating and very secure my son was always looking forward to going there, he was well settled there and enjoyed every bits of it. Sofan's very tolerate, humble and communicate effectively with parents and as well with the children.

I would absolutely recommend Sofan! From the moment I drop off my child, I feel reassured that they will be safe and have fun throughout the day. What helps this is that I get regular updates from Sofan throughout the day with pics that give me that extra reassurance (tho I do admit it does cause me to miss them; who would've thought lolz?). A very vibrant setting with so much activities for the kids to do with Sofan even taking them on trips :)
Above all, I can always count on my child to be given back to me with a fresh nappy, which is honestly much appreciated.
