About Me

My name is Sofan. I am a mother, and my daughter studies at university. I am located on Consort Road, Peckham, and I have been working with children of all ages and backgrounds for over a decade, which I enjoy doing very much. Seeing each child reach their developmental milestones is both exciting and rewarding. I understand firsthand that it can be a difficult decision to leave your child in the care of a childminder, because I used the services of a registered childminder for my daughter, too, when she was younger, which worked out very well. So I can relate to that.
Hence, the reason in my setting, I strive to offer parents high-quality, flexible childcare, providing children with a safe and nurturing environment that gives parents peace of mind, enabling them to work, study, or pursue other activities to support themselves and their families.

My Experience

My Experience working with children varies extensively, I am a qualified Teaching Assistant, with experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children. I have worked in the capacity of a Deputy nursery manager having responsibility for children aged 3 months - 4 years old. I am also able to help children with primary level Mathematics and Literacy. I now own and manage my own business Chosen Tot's Childminding Services.

My Qualifications

BA Hons Business Management and Entrepreneurship, NVQ Level Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Childminding Training Course.
