About Me

I am an organised, easy-going person who has a passion for working with children. I enjoy planning stimulating activities where learning can happen through play. As I have taught Year R, as well as the older years, I understand the necessary skills that are needed for school readiness as well as those needed in Key Stage one and two. I really enjoy the outdoors and think this is a crucial part of a child’s learning journey. I have 4 children of my own, aged 19,18,14 and 3.

My Experience

I am a Primary school teacher who after maternity leave decided to become a nanny. I had been teaching at a local primary school for 5 years and 15 years before that in South Africa. I have taught from year R-Year 7. I have experience with babies to teens. I have also had experience nannying both younger and older children. I have done many courses relating to children, including phonics, autism, mental health, first aid , asthma and allergies and epi-pens.

My Qualifications

I have a teaching degree with QTS.
Paediatric Level 3 first aid

My Availability

I have availability two mornings a week between 9.30 and 2.30pm. I do have some flexibility with other times/days so best to message me directly with your requirements.
