Looking for an Ofsted Nanny Experienced with Autistic Children
About Me
Hi! My almost 5-year-old daughter and I are looking for an Ofsted-registered nanny to support us over the summer holidays. We live in South Manchester, and I work from home, so I'll be in the house throughout. I'm hoping to find someone warm, calm and reliable who enjoys building genuine connections with children and creating a relaxed, playful environment.
My Requirements
I'm looking for an Ofsted-registered nanny for a few hours each week during the summer holidays.
The role would include:
-Playing games, crafts and activities with my almost 5-year-old.
-Helping with meal preparation, including batch cooking and preparing meals for the freezer.
-Light household tasks such as washing up, tidying toys and helping to keep shared spaces organised.
-Providing an extra pair of hands while I'm working from home.
Experience supporting autistic children is essential, particularly children with high masking and internalised presentations of autism. I'm looking for someone who understands sensory and emotional needs, is patient, playful, and able to follow my daughter's lead while gently supporting her.
If this sounds like a good fit, I'd love to hear from you with a little about yourself, your experience, availability and hourly rate.
