About Me
Hiya! My name is Mia.
I’ve worked in childcare for six years, starting as an apprentice and progressing to Deputy Manager. I’m fully DBS-checked, hold Paediatric First Aid, and I’m a fully qualified Early Years SENCO. I also have a Level 2 in Makaton and lots of hands-on experience supporting children with additional needs.
I’ve spent a year in a secondary school working with SEND students, running small groups of up to 10 children to build life skills as well as foundational maths and English. I love creating calm, nurturing routines where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. Watching little ones thrive in their natural environments is why I do what I do.

My Experience
I first started off babysitting when I was 14-15,this is when I knew that I wanted to work with children. I then decided I wanted to do a childcare apprenticeship when I had left school. I joined my current setting where I completed my NVQ Level 2 childcare. I then got promoted to Floor leader of the nursery after it was completed.
After a few months I decided I wanted to do my Level 3 in childcare. I am currently completing it and I’m a few months away from passing. When staring my level 3 I got promoted to Deputy Manager of the nursery.

- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
If travelling home late at night,I will ask for a reimbursement for the taxi home as I don’t drive.
