Welcome to LittleWonders home nursery
Exceptional and affordable early years childcare in Leek in now is taking bookings for placements either in full time or part time.
A home from home, natural environment that encourages child initiated playful learning and outdoor adventures to enable children following their own ideas and imagination.
I'm Vivien, a registered childminder through an amazing Ofsted childminder agency. This agency received the highest possible rating as a childminder agency in 2022 and I am proud to be a member of their team.
I live in Leek, Staffordshire with my hubby, our 17 months old little man and our 2.5 years old golden retriever pup. We are a fun loving, international family who love meeting new people, cultures, music and food. Myself is from Hungary originally, hubby is from Ireland and the kids were born in England. I do believe growing up with pets are wonderful and they teach us to love unconditionally. Existing research also supports children’s personal, emotional and social development when caring for pets. It also encourages children’s conversation and understanding of the natural world and lessons about life. Positive relationships with pets can nurture compassion, empathy, social competence and self-esteem. Our doggo is the most affectionate, sweetest and friendliest pup and our future LittleWonders will have lots of fun with her.
LittleWonders is brand new childminding nursery in a natural environment with a small ratio of children (only takes 3 LittleWonders a day). It provides a more personalised approach based on the child's interest as well as catering their needs in a warm, safe & well stimulating nursery, lead by Early Years Foundation Stage.
I am passionate to provide a welcoming and loving setting for children with quality childcare and exceptional support.
The curriculum at LittleWonders focuses on playful learning to build confidence, independence and most importantly love for learning. The nursery has a classroom/playroom, a relaxation room with sleeping area and a child friendly back garden with a mud kitchen, bird feeder, swing, see-saw, slide, sandpit and ride on toys.
At LittleWonders, we offer lots of outdoor adventures, attend nursery rhymes session at the local library, musical playgroups and visit local parks, duck ponds, forests and playgrounds. These types of activities encourages LittleWonders to keep fit and healthy and to enjoy the outside world in all weather types - sunshine, rain or even snow.
My ultimate aim is for parent to feel comfortable and happy to bring their children to a warm, safe and well stimulating setting. LittleWonders is inclusive and welcoming to all families with diverse needs, cultures, religions and backgrounds. In our nursery we value and respect each other.
My Experience
I am an educated professional with over 10 years of valuable experience, working in a variety of home and educational settings as a tutor, family support worker, an autism specialist and a higher level teaching assistant. I have also obtained extensive experience working with little ones of diverse age groups (from newborn age onwards) as a nanny for families of multiple children in Hungary, England and Ireland.
I have in-depth knowledge and understanding of child development both in general education and special educational needs gaining through my psychology bachelors degree focusing on child development and applied behaviour analysis masters degree specialising in autism spectrum disorders. All these experiences helped me to grow into a compassionate and empathetic professional.
Although, I have loved working in various educational settings, there has always been missing something.
I have been dreaming of creating something special and meaningful in the field of education for years now as I have always had a natural love for children. Well, after many months of hard working, studying and attending webinars as well as decorating our home to get it ready for our future LittleWonders, the result of this dream is to be the proud owner of LittleWonders home from home nursery.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Childminding:
07:45 - 17:00 for full day rate £49.50
Unsocial hours and weekends can be discussed on request with additional charges. Please contact me regarding any individual requirements.
Price includes healthy meals and snacks:
Breakfast (08:00-08:30)
Morning snack (10:00-10:30)
Lunch (12:00-13:00)
Afternoon snack (15:00-15:30)
Dinner is also available upon request if need out of hour care (17:30-18:00). Additional charges will apply.
Babysitting £11 per hour
Childminding £6 per hour
