About Me
I live in Raunds with my husband Kieran and our three children ages 8, 14 and 16. We have lived in Raunds for 12 years, originally from Huntingdon.
We have a large outdoor area for the children to play in, this includes a vegetable patch, chickens, rabbits and a guarded pond with fish and frogs.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, gardening and spending time with my family.
I am very interested in the curiosity approach, lots of outside play, enabling independence and child-led learning.
My Experience
As well as having my own three children, I have previously worked as a childminder assistant and I have experience in a pre school.
I have also volunteered with the local school on trips out.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 2 Caring for children and young people
Level 3 childcare and education
Food safety and hygiene
paediatric first aid
Advanced safeguarding and designated safeguarding lead level 3
Manual handling for childcare professionals
Biting in early years
Supporting children's speech, language and communication
Supporting children with special educational needs
My Availability
I am currently full until September 2027.
I am open from 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
I am open during term time only.
I am closed on bank holiday's and do not charge for this.
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I offer two settling in sessions each for one hour, for free. More settling in sessions can be given if needed, at the hourly rate.
Children will need to bring a packed lunch.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Raunds Park Infant School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at St Peter's Church of England Academy
