I’m Caitlin and I’m a professional, qualified Chiltern nanny with over 12+ years experience in the childcare industry.
I truly love what I do and have a keen interest in working with children and helping them realise their potential whilst also supporting them with their development during those crucial early stages of their lives.
Providing that support to both children and parents alike and being able to offer my expertise in areas such as potty training, big transitions such as new sibling, moving home and preparation for school means a lot to me and is a part of the role I find incredibly rewarding.
I have recently located to Central Edinburgh from London and I’m now looking for a lovely new family/families to work with.
I am ideally looking for full time or part time nanny roles but I am also open to ad hoc childcare and babysitting.

My Experience
I trained at the Chiltern College from 2014-2016. At the time, Chiltern ran a specialist nanny and childcare course which I completed over 2 years, gaining a CACHE level 3 in Childcare, the Chiltern College’s very own Nanny Award (achieving A* grade and distinction) as well as doing weekly placements at the on-site private nursery.
I would also go out into the local community and do work experience with schools, nursery, families with newborn twins and more.
Alongside this I got my first official nanny role working with a lovely little girl a couple of times a week in an after school role.
Once graduating, I got my first full time nanny role in London and have never looked back. Since, I have worked in both full time and temporary positions with children of different ages and families of all walks of life.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (A* grade)
The Chiltern College Nanny and Childcare Award (Distinction grade)
Paediatric First Aid (Last updated January 2023)
During my time at Chiltern College I also gained qualifications in Music with children, Baby Massage and Yoga, Sleep Training, Swimming with Children and Universal Safeguarding.
