My Experience

I have always worked in childcare and knew from a young age that it was the career I wanted to pursue. I now have over 10 years’ experience working with children and have gained relevant qualifications throughout my career. I am extremely passionate about my role and always aim to provide the highest standard of care.

I have extensive experience working with children of all ages and have worked across a wide range of settings. These include working as a nanny for a local family and providing childcare at weddings, a teaching assistant, after-school club and holiday club manager, one-to-one support for children with SEN, as well as roles within nurseries and pre-schools.

I currently work as a childminder four days a week. I also have personal experience caring for my niece, who is now eleven years old, and I supported her care from nine months old.

Through my professional and personal experience, I have worked with children from birth up to 12 years old. I have also babysat for many families over the years and have built strong, trusting relationships within the local community.

My Qualifications

- CACHE Level 1 Diploma in caring for Children (QCF)
- CACHE Level 2 in Child Care & Early Years
- CACHE Level 1 in Personal and Social Development (QCF)
- BTEC Level 2 Home cooking skills - Pass
- QNUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
- Full driving licence & own car
- DBS check
- Ofsted registered
