Hello!
I’m Bek. I’m an energetic, fun and child friendly mum, with lots of experience of working with children of all ages. I have had 20 years experience of being a mum in addition to my work in child care and I have always loved working with children.
I live in Pennard with my husband, who is a local head teacher and 3 children (13 year old son and twins (girl and boy) who are nearly 10 years old)
We also have a friendly Labrador who loves children and a fat tabby cat!
I encourage lots of outdoor play -especially when the weather is good and also have plenty of indoor activities for the rainy days!
My Experience
I have had 10 years’ experience as a Paediatric nurse, 4 years’ experience as a teaching assistant (Pennard & Bishopston primary schools) plus 20 years experience as a mother of my own children! I have also had plenty of experience working with children with additional learning needs. I am Maketon trained ( sign language) and have attended regular child protection training/ safeguarding for many years.
I have run toddler groups in the past and I currently lead youth groups and manage a Sunday school.
I have also completed the child minder course -although I have not actually gone ahead and become a registered child minder yet.
I am up to date with first aid training and have a DBS for my current employment.
I own my own car, and as my youngest still attend Pennard primary, I am able to offer pick up from Pennard.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
After school child care
3:20-5:30pm -£10 per child. (As the child will be taking up a place- no reduction available for earlier collection)
Additional fee may apply for school pick up from Pennard -£2
