My Experience

Previously working as a Teaching Assistant for 5+years, I grew my passion for supporting children form various backgrounds and abilities and found this a very rewarding career. Although, I thoroughly enjoy nannying & babysitting because I get to build a more of a personal relationship with the children, above all the best thing is being able to have fun and share lots of laughter together! I have worked privately for 2 families each with 2 girls between ages 4-9. I was responsible for school pickups, taking children to gymnastics, homework help, day trips (swimming, playgrounds, museums, farms & cinema to name a few) baking, arts and crafts and cooking for the children were all part of my role. My favourite memory was when I accompanied a family on holiday to their holiday home in Rosnegir Wales, we had so much fun exploring the beach, hiking and playing volleyball.

I run my own home and have experience raising my own 2 children who are now aged 15 & 13 so are now more independent.

Children make me smile, I am very fun, active, nurturing and caring but I understand that children thrive when they have structure and routine and may need to be disciplined at times.
I can manage behaviour well and I usually find that a reward system encourages good behaviour. Having said that I do not shy away from tougher situations, a previous child I worked for had ADHD & Autism and could display challenging behaviour at times but I was able to calm and de-escalate situations and work collaboratively with her parents to provide support and solutions.

My Qualifications

Level 3 diploma in Health and Social care. Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in Social studies (working with children & families).

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

Negotiable depending on requirments of the role hours required and location.
