About Me
We are a friendly and welcoming family based in Grays. I am a primary school teacher and mum to two daughters. My youngest daughter, Ayana, is currently 3 years old and will be starting nursery in September just before she turns 4. I also have an independent 12-year-old daughter who will be at home after school.
We are looking for someone kind, reliable and trustworthy to become part of our family's routine. We value a calm, caring environment and would love to find someone who enjoys spending time with children, encouraging their development and helping our afternoons run smoothly.
My Requirements
We are looking for an After School Nanny for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during term time, starting in September.
The role would include:
Collecting Ayana from school in South Ockendon.
Bringing her home to Grays.
Providing attentive and nurturing care until myself and my husband finish work.
Preparing a healthy after-school snack or light meal.
Engaging Ayana in age-appropriate activities, play, reading and learning opportunities.
Light household duties such as tidying children's areas, washing up after snacks/meals and general household tidying.
Essential requirements:
Reliable and punctual.
Experience caring for young children.
Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
References available upon request.
Driver preferred.
We are looking for someone who is warm, patient, organised and genuinely enjoys working with children. Ideally, we'd love to find someone who can become a consistent and trusted part of our family's weekly routine.
