About Me
Hello! I'm Heather and I'm from Stockport. I spend a lot of time in Northwich at the moment as my sister lives there and I'm looking to potentially relocate there in the next year. So I am open to families within the Northwich or Stockport areas for long-term nannying. As the youngest of 4 girls myself, my siblings have started their own families already and I just love pitching in and helping out with them. I pride myself in the effort I take to prioritise not only playing with these children but in teaching and supporting them through life.
I love almost every activity you can think of (albeit give me drawing and I'm not a pro - but gosh do I enjoy it). I spent a lot of time studying outdoor pursuits in college, i.e. becoming qualified to teach groups of children in outdoor sports such as skiing, climbing and kayaking. But I'm also a lover of an at home activity - whether that be getting your hands dirty with some crafts or watching movies during the evening (usually Disney).
I think my big-kid attitude helps a lot when it comes to children, many gravitate towards me and I do feel it is for that relatable side of me for them. Of course, with responsibilities means it's not all play and I think children tend to understand that (they're smarter than we often give them credit for!).
I can't wait to meet you and your family and really understand what you are looking for in a nanny. I know that parents often have specific routines or way of doing things and I am happy to work with whatever you find most comforting to you.
Fun Fact: my guilty pleasure is probably watching a bit of Bluey with the kids, I enjoy it more than I let on!
My Experience
In past years I worked part time in a local nursery alongside the later years of school and college. This was with children between the ages of 1 and 4. I loved this role and loved volunteering at the local watersports centre with the group of children aged 4-16 after getting my college qualifications to do so. However, being the numbers nerd that I am have been working within accounting for the past 2 years. I have recently had a change of heart in my career. I haven't finished studying for Accounting and decided I would like to go back to working with children, this time alongside their families as a nanny. For me, I love the time I spend with my nieces and nephews, as we have monthly special days out between visiting after school, but I would love to expand that into my working week and really connect with your children as I support your family's daily routines.
My Qualifications
I have had first aid training and will be updating this qualification shortly with a renewal to ensure it stays relevant and accurate.
My Availability
I am available during the working week Mon-Fri between the hours of 6:30am and 8pm generally. I can be available on weekends and evenings as and when needed but preferably not every day as I do have a small doggie back home that needs some love and a good walk too.
Hours can be discussed to suit you and as mentioned can add extra as and when needed for specific occasions.

- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
