About Me
Hi all,
I am a full time teacher hoping to use my passion for teaching to inspire children to exceed expectations. I want to assist them to overcome challenges with confidence, whilst engaged and having fun.
Observations in my classroom have always commented on my warm, caring nature alongside my high expectations. I pride myself on my ability to form great relationships with all my students allowing me to teach them in a nurturing environment, where they are not afraid to make mistakes, but learn from them and develop a thirst for knowledge.

My Experience
I have been teaching in mainstream primary schools (year R through to year 6) for the last 5 years and have experienced supporting children through KS1 sats, KS2 sats and year 1 phonics screening assessments.
Prior to teaching, I was a safeguarding officer and an assistant special educational needs coordinator. I used to manage support for children who had additional needs and lead specialist interventions.
Before I started working in primary schools, I worked supporting behaviour in secondary schools and provided specific care and lessons to children in specialist provision with high level needs. I was a respite carer and also previously managed special education needs holiday clubs as well as mainstream breakfast and after school clubs.
My Qualifications
QTS - Post grad degree in Primary Education

AS Levels in Sociology, Psychology and Critical Thinking

9 GCSEs A-C including English, Science, Maths, French and German.
My Availability
As a full-time teacher, my availability is focused around school hours. I am available during these times and school holidays via face to face sessions and online.
