About Me

I'm a mum of three — Ethan (4), Amelia (2), and my 13-year-old stepdaughter who lives with us 50% of the time. We are looking for a caring, reliable nanny to help with Ethan and Amelia. Our stepdaughter is very independent, but we do need an adult in the home when she's with us.

Ethan is a bright, energetic little boy who loves dinosaurs, sea animals, water play and being outdoors. He enjoys routine and likes to immerse himself in his favourite activities. Ethan is autistic and communicates a little differently to other children, so he benefits from a patient adult who can give him time to process and express himself. He is happiest with someone who understands that he sometimes prefers to play independently and follow his own interests.

Ethan is currently working on his communication skills and toilet training. He thrives with consistency, gentle guidance and someone who can support him in a calm, positive way. He also requires close supervision when out and about, as he has very little awareness of danger and can be impulsive, so safety is a key part of the role.

Amelia is a happy, chatty little girl who loves dancing, singing and joining in with whatever is going on.

Ethan will be starting school soon and Amelia will be attending preschool, so we're looking for flexible support around school and preschool drop-offs and pick-ups, with some additional ad-hoc help when our work shifts change.

Experience with autism or additional needs would be a bonus, but the most important thing for us is finding someone kind, patient, dependable and willing to build a great relationship with our children.
