About Me
I'm a mum of three — Ethan (4), Amelia (2), and my 13-year-old stepdaughter who lives with us 50% of the time. We're looking for reliable after-school and wrap-around care support, primarily for Ethan who will be starting school soon, and Amelia who'll be attending preschool.
Ethan is a bright, energetic little boy who loves dinosaurs, sea animals, water play and being outdoors. He's autistic and communicates a little differently to other children, so he benefits from a patient adult who can give him time to process and express himself. He's happiest with someone who understands that he sometimes prefers to play independently. Ethan requires close supervision when out and about, as he has very little awareness of danger, so safety is key.
Amelia is a happy, chatty little girl who loves dancing, singing and joining in with activities.
We work in the emergency services with shifts that vary, so we're looking for flexible, reliable support with school and preschool pick-ups and the afternoon care that follows.
My Requirements
My partner and I work in the emergency services. My hours are currently office hours but may be subject to change, and my partner works shift so we'll be looking at part time ad-hoc cover.
We have a detailed rota covering September to March with varying hours — please get in touch so we can discuss this with you directly.
We're happy to pay for some hours before the official start date of Monday 28th September to help you get to know the children and us.
