About Me
I'm a mum of three — Ethan (4), Amelia (2), and my 13-year-old stepdaughter who lives with us 50% of the time. We need someone to look after Ethan and Amelia; our stepdaughter is independent but we need an adult in the home when she's here.
Ethan has been diagnosed with autism and is a ball of energy who loves the outdoors, sea animals and dinosaurs. He's a cheery little chap but quite strong-willed — when he's focused on something, he doesn't cope well with interruptions or other children getting involved. He communicates differently than other children and may not always join in group activities; he tends to be repetitive in his play and know exactly what he wants to do. He isn't yet potty trained due to sensory aversion.
Amelia is a chatty little lady who loves to dance!
Ethan will be starting school soon and Amelia will be moving to preschool. We're looking for flexible, patient care around school drop-offs and pickups, with ad-hoc support when shifts change. We'd love someone who understands autism and can give Ethan the space to do his own thing.

My partner and I work in the emergency services, my hours are office hours but my partner works shift so will be looking at part time ad-hoc
