About Me
I am an energetic, and young working professional in London living with friends, looking for opportunities to earn some extra money. I work within psychology and would like to progress into a career within Education. I currently work assessing young people for autism and ADHD in a local CAMHS service and am going to be starting to train as a teacher from September. With this in mind, I work across lots of different settings with children and young people who present with additional learning needs, difficult life experiences, and predominantly mental health difficulties. I grew up in a household where my Mother was a childminder and so have always been around children and enjoyed with lots of experience working and being around children day to day which I’ve always enjoyed. Now I live with friends I do sometimes miss the hustle and bustle of having young children around. Mainly looking for babysitting opportunities due to work commitments, but would be open to regular evening (any day) and some day commitments at the weekend.

My Experience
I have worked in a school for young people aged 4-25 with autism and supported them both with education and within a residential setting. Able to build therapeutic and mentoring relationships to help them throughout their days.
I have worked in a community outreach mental health team and particularly work with lots of young people and their families who are either pre or post diagnosis of ASC/ADHD. I also deliver interventions for young people with presenting mental health difficulties like anxiety, low mood, behavioural difficulties etc.
I work with refugee and unaccompanied asylum seeking children and so have a broad and open wealth of experience in trauma informed work and building relationships with children who may find it difficult to access help.
I have worked on a number of different research projects for families within a post-adoption team.
Other experience has included work in an adult psychosis outreach team. And at current I work assessing young people for autism and ADHD.
I also worked with a family who I found from this website and supported with looking after their 2 boys for 2 nights a week for the good part of 2 years.
I grew up in a house where my Mother was a childminder and so have had lots of experience in supporting childcare as part of my routine day to day life.

BSc - Psychology
Training within work including early years
ADOS trained
My Availability
Dependent on week - Would be looking for evening babysitting opportunities, including some weekends
