Nanny in Mitcham
My Summary
About Me
I’m a very caring, warm and patient person. With my work experience, studies and personal experience I have been able to grasp what career path id like to go in which is children. Looking after children is a natural skill to me. I enjoy baking, cooking (I have only received positive feedback about my food!) and travelling. I’m currently an after school nanny to 2 lovely little girls who are amazing.
My Experience
With nearly 3 years of experience providing nurturing, engaging, and reliable care for children from primary school through to secondary school, I am confident I can offer your family exceptional support.
In my current role I manage daily routines, prepared nutritious meals, assisted with homework, and organised educational outings, fostering a positive and stimulating environment. My skills in fostering independence, managing schedules, culinary skills and having a warm, calm yet firm approach align perfectly with the responsibilities outlined in your posting. I've worked with the family for nearly 3 years and I have learnt so much about myself and the world of childcare. Childcare became an unexpected career change for myself, nearly 3 years later I couldn't imagine another career path that suits me so well. I have built a strong rapport with the Boulton family and have taken the children on many fun days out such as theme parks, museums, swimming, pottery painting, cinema, bowling and much more.
For the past 2 years with the family my role has moved more on to cooking for the family, it was something I’d do in emergencies but the family appreciate my food so much my role has now become cooking based. 4 days a week I make nutritious meals from all over the world, particularly Asian cuisines. I encourage the children to embrace and learn different cultures through my culinary skills. I have even made cakes with the children for school fairs. My day to day responsibilities include school pick up, reading/ homework, playing, cooking, preparing children for the next day and clubs. I pride myself on my patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills, ensuring comfort and safety for children.
